Let children walk with Nature, let them see the beautiful blendings and communions of death and life, their joyous inseparable unity, as taught in woods and meadows, plains and mountains and streams of our blessed star, and they will learn that death is stingless indeed, and as beautiful as life. - John Muir -

Dagene blir lengre og lysere / The days are getting longer and brighter
The days feels longer and brighter now and the sun has already begun to color the top peaks slightly pink. A sign that the sun is not far away:) The two youngets had a day off from school today, so we used the nice weather to be out for hours. Skates, kick-sled, snowshoes and sleds were frequently used before we went in and warmed us on cocoa and freshly baked bread.

wow...they did it all!! looks like a fun day. kicksleds are getting more and more popular over here. such a blast! enjoy your sunshine!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to find a kicksled around here, I think it would be fun and I STILL want to try cross country ski's.
ReplyDeleteHow old were the kids when they first started snowshoeing?
Those kicksleds are cool! I've not seen them here in Wisconsin or over in Minnesota with the in-laws. My kids would be gone in a flash with one of those.
